The album took almost four years to complete. The fact that it took so long has a lot to do with the band releasing a handful of split records and singles in the meantime, but also because of an ambition to really invest this time. “What happens if we broaden the view of what our grindcore really is? Can we attack the songs from another direction - plank a Pixies stick, interpret Björn Afzelius?”

On Björn Afzelius's song "Flickan i snøn", the band is guested by Anna Wagner from, among others, Dead Sleep. She is joined by more guest artists. In "Rockar med mammon" Mikey Lennartsson from Gamla Pengar and The Dahmers rasps out lines about having time to listen to Slayer and in "Vi ska ätas, vi ska dömas", the techno artist Johanna Knutsson sings about how sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut.

“Filmer för blinda” revolves around the phenomenon of being human - during one and the same day, we can be exposed to feelings of helplessness, joy, sadness, anger, fatigue, love, friendship and hatred. How do we handle it? How do we stay afloat? Some close their eyes, others confront it. Some booze their day away, others go to work. Some becomes right-wing, others renovate their balcony. But in the end, nothing really matters. It's movies for the blind.

“It has been important for us not to get stuck in the generic. Although we have taken every opportunity to place ourselves in the grindcore genre, we have always identified ourselves as a regular rock band. We quite often play a very fast form of rock music, but in the end it's completely normal rock we deal with. It also gives greater freedom in terms of lyrics. I want to be able to write about raw capitalism, but I also want to sing about fast cars and Torgny Lindgren”, says Anders Schärberg, who plays guitar and sings in JÄRNBÖRD.

“Filmer för blinda” is mostly recorded in Studio Covid by Niklas Ehrlin, with the exception of the drums, which were recorded in Studio Tonhuvud by Hannes Heed. Mixed and mastered by Ulf Blomberg, HoboRec Recording Studio.

Vinyl-LP is released by De:nihil Records (SWE) and 7Degrees Records (GER).

CD is released by Hecatombe Records (SP) and Esagoya Records (JPN).

New full length from Hungarian grindpunks JACK. Contains 15 brand new tracks, as well as 6 live tracks from a performance at Riff Klub.

 JACK are here with their second full length from Hungary! Blazing and blasting grindcore / crossover thrashcore done in a very unique way. The feeling of the old school is very evident here and brings to mind PHOBIA, and NAPALM DEATH. Pure thrash grind, still combining metal, and hardcore. This shows a lot of growth for JACK.

The first songs they ever have recorded are now re-recorded and the first time on vinyl. Technical Grind/Metal from the Ruhrpott area on highest Level.

After the reunion last year and their regularly album the band releases another cover album. 11 german songs from bands like Knochenfabrik, Toxoplasma, S.Y.P.H. or Hammerhead are recorded in the typical JaKa style and with guest vocalists. Finest technical Grind/Death on colored vinyl.

Did you hear that loud, ear-piercing, grinding BAMMMM? That was the soundtrack to JAKA's final, ultimate band meeting. We'll spare you the details and go straight to the nitty-gritty: they split. On "KAPUTTE NACKTE AFFEN", they strut their stuff and deliver the goods for the last time. Music-wise, it's yet another direction, but don't you worry - all the JAKA trademarks are still there, including the well-known, beloved blunt & brutal lyrics. Due to these apocalyptic texts, the abum was almost titled "Fertig mit die Menschen" (Done with people). But that would have been too close to JAKAs 2003 cult EP "Fertigmensch", too much back to the rotten roots... Only bands without visions do "back to the roots" things - so JAKA threw that idea in the bin very soon because for their last output, they have had a lot of ideas indeed. Anyway, so "KAPUTTE NACKTE AFFEN" it is, and since "KAPUTTE NACKTE AFFEN" is the final kiss, the subtitle is "the deunion album". Once more, for the record: "KAPUTTE NACKTE AFFEN" is the last JAKA album. Enjoy the experience - JAKA will be sadly missed in the universe of craziness, the world of madness, and the realm of the bizarre. Over - and out.

Formed in Lille, France, in late 2016, Jodie Faster is a fast hardcore, political punk quartet. Playing furious and frantic songs about modern life, oppression systems, life on the road and punk ethos, the band has released their first EP Complete Discography in 2017, then a split EP with Rouen’s Genital Jiggling 666 Cups of Black Coffee in 2018, before launching their debut album Blame Yourself on TNSrecords, alongside many other badass labels. They’ve toured Europe and UK several time, did videos, met some great people around, promote gigs in their hometown, played many great festivals (Manchester Punk Fest, Fluff fest, Xtreme Fest, Ieper Hardcore Fest to name a few), seen a lot of killing bands and personal idols, told some good jokes & some botched ones, crossed some borders easily and other less easily… Often sad, always funny, the band tries to spread some rage and some love around.

Nearly 6 years in the making, JOHN FRUM’s unorthodox debut maneuvers through 40 minutes of darkly psychedelic and meticulously crafted death metal, acting as a medium for malefic musings, the backdrop of a bad trip. JOHN FRUM borrows its name from a relatively isolated group of natives in the South Pacific islands, known as a Cargo Cult, whose encounter with the outside world led to an awakening of new beliefs and lifestyles. The mysterious JOHN FRUM is the manifestation of four musical minds coalescing in a collective consciousness developed from time spent playing with The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Faceless, John Zorn, Cleric and many more elite projects. A Stirring In The Noos is a dismal distillation of oneric transmission and a totem to modern primitivism in heavy music.

way too long in th making this epic masterpiece is finally out. Jotnarr pulled it off to capture their amazing live sound feeling to these heavy as fuck recordings. Somehow stuck between “scenes” these three legends never got the attention they deserve, even though they combine just the best of genres like the heavy gloominess of doom inspired metal riffing with the speed and roughness of black metal or heavier emoviolence bands like shikari with enough melodies and layers to even please the boring “post-rock” audience.

this has all you expect from this great band - an emotional apocalyptic journey that sounds more desperate and anxious than ever! a heavy monolith that continously builds up tension and beauty just to unleash hell in an intense eruption - giving you a glimpse of hope just to drive you to despair in the end!
