For this split they produce four more straight-forward hardcore punk ditties with less blasts than in the past and more knuckledragging than you've come to expect from this heinous group of miscreants. The results are two rotten and furious lessons in grindcore, punk and death metal, banded together in order to overwhelm the listener.

The master used for this reissue is the original recording found in Jan's vault that was remastered at the Soundshape Studios in 1993 for even heavier sound. Selfmadegod Records is proud to announce a 7" vinyl EP releasing of the two long running metal veterans: AGATHOCLES from Belgium and NUNSLAUGHTER from USA.

The EP includes three recently recorded songs from Belgium's mince kings ("Trail of despair", "Nazional sozial(ist) security", "Flanders' little cesspool") and two from the Ohio's death metal behemoth ("To Sin Again", "Your Soul Belongs To Me").

Both bands have been around for well over 20 years and have released hundreds of similar splits although its the first time when Agathocles and Nunslaughter share the same record

Haemophagus play a style of death metal inspired grindcore with the mandatory dark sound and guttural vocals, but have some sharp guitar riffs and solos every now and then break through. The band themselves claim to be inspired by "mainly old school death metal, TRUE grindcore, doom/sludge, thrash/hc/crust and of course all 60/70/80 horror movies and marijuana abuse."

Art Of Burning Water were born out of the ‘white flats’ of Hanwell (W7) and the pre-gentrified homes of Hammersmith (W6) in West London in 2001. The sound of suburban alienation and misfit isolation forged an awkward visceral sound that was too punk for the metallers, too noisy for the arthouse crowd and too weird for seemingly everyone else. AOBW continue to plough their own furrow despite personal injury and often chronic disorganisation. with self-promotion taking a back seat to the importance of sound creation to combat the often ugly hardships of everyday living. Like Slayer gone sludge, AOBW channel the prime noise-rock of vintage Zeni Geva and Godflesh with the more complex rhythmical riff obsessions of the Melvins, Keelhaul and mid-period Voivod. In saying that however, AOBW also adhere to the original punk philosophy of ‘anything goes’. There are no restrictions. Punk isn’t about Discharge (as good as they were and are), studded belts and crusty bum flaps. Punk is the heart to tell the narrow minded to get fucked.

solation Tank is a duo that make that powerviolence stuff but are head and shoulders above a lot of the generic, jokey slop being churned out at the moment. Jack and Sam actually utilise discernible, catchy riffs and lots of cool time changes that keep it interesting. Think Hatred Surge and Iron Lung.

Art Of Burning Water continue their mission to annoy all and sundry with their slightly faster take on their usual off-kilter noise-rock with definite hardcore leanings, like a sped up Keelhaul partying with Motorhead. Three short ones from them also.

In the dark days of 2013, Flo from the band Stuntman extended the hand of friendship across the Channel and offered Art Of Burning Water a slot at a festival he ran in an old chateau on top of a mountain in the south of France called Yellfest. AOBW had not played outside the UK and Ireland in all their long existence and so made the trek down. Great times were had by all and a pledge was made to enshrine the moment on a split release, and here it is. Stuntman hail from the south of France and make a manic, panicked type of chaotic metallic hardcore in the vein of Deadguy and Coalesce. AOBW just don't stop do they? This one features an epic one by them, melodic, soaring at times, but punk at heart. There's a Deep Wound cover too. 

Atka, the tech-grinders from Giessen+Berlin [Germany] share the disc with Swarrrm, the chaotic-minimalist-extremists from Japan.
