For their debut album "Nullpunkt", COLDSPINE developed their individual style and sound of Doom/ Sludge Metal. The full length record consists of 9 tracks and has a total runtime of 46 minutes. The songs differ from very slow Doom territory (title track "Nullpunkt", "To The Ground"), sludgy mid-tempo groove ("Odd", "Torture Rack") to faster approaches, riffs and rhythms ("Among Serpents", "Misery Routine"). Furthermore, the band puts some atmospheric elements into their music while also using clean guitar sounds and noise parts ("Regression", "Minus") as well as a dose of dissonance in their riffs. The vocals and lyrics (written in English and German) support the deep atmosphere of the music. The Album was mixed and mastered by Blackout Studio (Belgium).   
This leads to a high dynamic range and variety while experiencing the record in its entirety. Overall, with "Nullpunkt" COLDSPINE offer a diverse, varied debut record in which the band adapts elements of multiple subgenres without losing their musical roots in the Doom/ Sludge genre.
For the handpainted artwork, the band worked together with local artist Lisa Schroeder (Instagram: lisaschroeder.art). The artwork represents the bleak, dismal character of the songs and especially the name/ title of the album "Nullpunkt", which symbolizes being at your lowest point in a metaphoric way.

Greek grind/black metal act STHENO is pleased to announce their upcoming second album "Wardance", due out October 8th 2021 via 7 Degrees Records (LP) and Chaos & Hell Productions (CD & Tape).

The album's 11 tracks blaze a trail of fury by way of blistering tremolo and battle-ready percussion. STHENO has blurred the boundaries between grindcore, black, death and other extreme strains of heavy metal since 2013. The band was founded by like-minded individuals among the Greek grind and crust scene with the intentions of creating harsh music while drawing inspiration from black and death metal without any regards, or limitations, to the structures surrounding each respective sub-genre.

After some line-up changes and several concerts in Greece, Germany, Switzerland and France, STHENO are ready to unleash their new album "Wardance", which features Christian Chaco, frontman of German death-grinders KEITZER, on vocals. Produced by Stelios "Stelth" Koslidis, the record is a war-themed concept album which is bound to catapult the band into the higher echelon of extreme underground metal.

To keep it extremely unrelenting without being stagnant and too monotonous is a difficult art form, but STHENO manages to stay away from all this and delivers an album full of metallic mayhem while keeping it fresh and dynamic at the same time.

UK grinders Evisorax have just announced the vinyl issue of their boundary-crushing 2020 album Ascension Catalyst on 7 Degrees Records. The release distils the devastating impact of razor-sharp grindcore, the punishing attack of sludge metal and the unsettling ambient discord of harsh noise into a single weighty slab of wax, featuring distinctive artwork from Soulsdue that compliments its concept perfectly.

Ascension Catalyst saw Evisorax founder Dan Lynch and long-time skin-beater Simon Brotherton (Ex-Narcosis/ Ergon Carousel) joined by the drummer’s former band mates John White on vocals and Oliver Turner on bass. John temporarily laid his axe aside to lay down some intensely tortured vocals and contrastingly enlightening lyrics that form a transcendental journey that the album hangs its concept on. Underpinning and enriching it all is Oliver’s punishing yet hypnotic bass work, which adds a whole new dimension to the Evisorax sound.

Formed in 2004, Evisorax have toured the UK, Europe and the USA and shared the stage with such legends as Napalm Death, Wormrot and Maruta. After over 15 years of break-neck harshness, Ascension Catalyst proves that Evisorax are not only eager to keep things fast, but eager to keep pushing the sonic envelope as well.

German noisemongers KRATZER will release their new album “...Alles liegt in Scherben” on 29th October 2020 via 7 Degrees Records / 783 Punx.

“...Alles liegt in Scherben” (“all is lying in cullets”) is the band's first full length album. Formed in 2012, KRATZER blend influences ranging from Swedish crust/d-beat bands, US hardcore/punk and extreme metal.

Although comparisons to From Ashes Rise, Victims and The Secret are understandable and locatable, the band's signature blend of raw hardcore with the texture of extreme metal is here highlighted by the consummate hand of experience, giving stunning credence to the riff, the song and the meaning.

After a Split LP with Greek Grinders KVAZAR (here on 7DR) and a 4-way-Split 12” some time later they frequently got on the road and have played about a 100 shows all over Germany - with bands such as Fredag 13:e, Parasight and Yacøpsae, including tours with rha., Vladimir Harkonen and Sarkast.

During that time KRATZER were able to consolidate their reputation as a powerful live act and their musical style and make it a sound of their very own. Singer Marché’s pissed off screaming in his mother tongue German, makes one feel the anger and despair sticking in every word. Combined with the tight riffs and fast d-beats, gloomy breaks and metallic leads wrapped up in a thick wall-of-sound production, the outcome has become an absolutely dark and heavy yet hard rocking piece of music and an angry comment on the world we live in.

 “Sublimation” is an album recorded by 4 guys who appreciate good sci-fi literature and enjoy playing riff-centric, rhythmically intense underground music.

It has been heavily inspired by the late Iain M. Banks’ concept of Sublimation, as explored in the master’s final sci-fi novel,  “The Hydrogen Sonata”.

It is Dephosphorus’ 4th full-length album and it presents a few notable differences compared to the rest of their discography, which are up to the audience to find out.

Old allies of the band have joined forces for the physical release: Selfmadegod (Poland) for the CD, 7 Degrees Records (Germany) and Nerve Altar (USA) for the black vinyl edition which includes a poster, with a clear version of 100 copies reserved for pre-orders (both black and clear versions have been pressed to 180g wax).

Last but not least, the record’s atmosphere has taken visual shape thanks to Viral Graphics.

During springtime 2019 these two german bands toured together and so it was just a small step further that they were willing to share this one piece of vinyl that will be brought to you by 7DEGREES RECORDS and MERCILESS RECORDS!

CANCER CLAN was formed in 2005 out of the ashes of CRUDE BE.

They describe their music simply as Blastpunk, but it’s so much more. On a skeleton of Grindcore they add crust, punk, hardcore and even have a weakness for thrashy riffs. In total this becomes a highly energetic, fast as fuck, at times heavy as lead entity of skull-splitting musick!

After releasing a couple of demo CDs and  7"s and touring Europe with the likes of WEEKEND NACHOS and BLOCKHEADS they released their first full lengh in 2015. In 2017 a SPlit 7“ with GOD’S AMERICA followed.

DESTEUFELS are a Metalpunk Band that started years ago. What you get is D-Beat-driven classical and classy Stenchcore. At times they rock really hard, on other occasions the  thunderous double kickdrum provides the heavyness and the thrown in blastbeats do the rest to make you feel at times like you’re in the UK during the eighties.  

Following on several demos, 5 new Songs are pressed on a vinyl record. 

Recorded, mixed and mastered in Ali’s studio duringMay/June 2018 in Jena/ Germany.
